The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 The mountains made to move, 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 by the night when it approaches 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
