The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
