Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 who call not upon another god with God, nor slay the soul God has forbidden except by right, neither fornicate, for whosoever does that shall meet the price 68 (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 and those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, pass by with honor 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say thou: my Lord careth not for you were it not for your prayer; whereas ye have even belied, so presently this denial shall come as the cleaving punishment. 77

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
