We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
