۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
