The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
