Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
