The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
