Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
