Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
