The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and a few from later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 like hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 and spreading shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
