Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
