Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
