And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
