The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
