I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
