Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 From the guilty. 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As they were frightened asses 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
