The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
