Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
