The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
