1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 Nay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment); 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 They shall say: Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers; 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement. 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 On that Day they will all share the punishment: 33 As such We shall deal with the evildoers. 34 For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride, 35 And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 “You surely have to taste the painful punishment.” 38 but you shall not be recompensed except for what you were doing. 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 No headiness there shall be therein, nor shall they be therewith inebriated. 47 And besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty). 48 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded. 49 They will go to one another asking each other questions. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 He said (to others on the thrones), “Will you take a glimpse (into hell) below?” 54 He will look down and see him in hell. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 Other than our first death, and we shall not be punished? 59 Verily this is the supreme achievement! 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is that (Paradise) better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum (a horrible tree in Hell)? 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 (The people of Hell) will surely eat of it, filling their bellies with it. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 Truly they found their fathers on the wrong Path; 69 so they are rushing to follow in their footsteps. 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 And certainly We sent among them warners. 72 and behold what happened in the end to those that had been warned [to no avail]! 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74
