And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
