And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
