The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
There was certainly a time when there was no mention of the human being. 1 Surely We have created man from a small life-germ uniting (itself): We mean to try him, so We have made him hearing, seeing. 2 We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. 3 We have prepared chains, shackles, and flaming fire (for the disbelievers). 4 Surely the pious shall drink of a cup whose mixture is camphor, 5 a spring from which God's servants will drink, making it gush forth in branches. 6 They fulfill their vow and dread a Day the evil whereof shall be widespreading. 7 And out of His love, they give food to the needy, the orphan and the prisoner. 8 (saying): 'We feed you only desirous of the Face of Allah; we seek of you neither recompense nor thanks, 9 Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful." 10 Wherefore Allah shall preserve them from the evil of that Day, and shall cause them to meet brightness and joy. 11 For their patience, He will reward them with Paradise and silk. 12 Reclining therein on raised couches, they shall find therein neither (the severe heat of) the sun nor intense cold. 13 the shading branches of trees will come down low over them, and their clusters of fruit, will hang down where they are the easiest to reach. 14 and passed around them shall be silver vessels, and crystal goblets, 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes). 16 and they will be given a cup to drink flavoured with ginger, 17 (The water of) a spring therein, named Salsabil. 18 ۞ And immortal youths will wait upon them: when thou seest them, thou wouldst deem them to be scattered pearls; 19 And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion. 20 Upon them there will be garments of green silk, rich brocade, and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them a pure beverage to drink. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
