The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
