Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 cast lots, and was among the losers. 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What ails you then, how you judge? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 But (now that the Quran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Quran and in Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all that which he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
