The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 on lavish couches 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 And couches raised up. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 loving and of equal age. 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
