Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Illustrious scribes 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
