O Ye who believe! devour not usury, multiplied manifold; and fear Allah, haply ye may fare well. 130 and beware of the fire which awaits those who deny the truth! 131 and obey God and the Messenger, so that you may be given mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another, hastening to forgiveness from your Lord, and to a garden whose breadth is as the heavens and earth, prepared for the godfearing 133 who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 134 And those who, when they commit an immoral act or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness of their sins – and who forgives sins except Allah? And those who do not purposely become stubborn regarding what they did. 135 Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers. 136 There are many examples [of the communities] that have passed away before you: travel through the land, and see what was the end of those who rejected the Truth. 137 This Quran is an exposition for the people and a guidance and admonition for those who fear God. 138 Be not, then, faint of heart, and grieve not: for you are bound to rise high if you are [truly] believers. 139 If a wound touches you, a like wound already has touched the heathen; such days We deal out in turn among men, and that God may know who are the believers, and that He may take witnesses from among you; and God loves not the evildoers; 140 And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 You had wished to know death before you faced it (in battle); so now you have seen it before your own eyes. 143
