Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
