And when thy Lord called Moses, saying: Go unto the wrongdoing folk, 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said, 'My Lord, I fear they will cry me lies, 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me. 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said [to Musa (Moses)]: "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us. 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 And is it a favor of which you remind me that you have enslaved the children of Israel? 22 Said Pharaoh: "And what [and who] is that 'Sustainer of all the worlds'?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 He said, 'What, even though I brought thee something so manifest?' 30 He (Pharaoh) replied: 'Show us your sign, if you are of the truthful' 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33
