۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
