The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
