When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!" 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 And I shall be embarrassed, and my tongue will not speak plainly, therefor send for Aaron (to help me). 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 Said He, 'No indeed; but go, both of you, with Our signs, and We assuredly shall be with you, listening. 15 Go to Pharaoh, both of you, and say, 'We are messengers from the Lord of the Worlds: 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 [But when Moses had delivered his message, Pharaoh] said: "Did we not bring thee up among us when thou wert a child? And didst thou not spend among us years of thy [later] life? 18 Yet you were ungrateful and have done the deed you did' 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 But the favour you oblige me with is that you have enslaved the children of Israel." 22 Said Pharaoh: "And what [and who] is that 'Sustainer of all the worlds'?" 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 Moses continued, "He is the Lord of the East and West and all that is between them, if only you would think". 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 Said he: "Even if I should bring about before thee something that clearly shows the truth?" 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
