۞ But who does greater evil than he who lies against God and cries lies to the very truth, when it comes to him? Is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 32 And whoso bringeth the truth and believeth therein - Such are the dutiful. 33 they will have everything they wish for from their Lord. Such is the reward of those who do good: 34 So that Allah may remit from them the evil of what they did and give them the reward, according to the best of what they used to do. 35 Is not God sufficient for His devotee? Still they frighten you with others apart from Him. Whoever God allows to go astray has none to show him the way. 36 but he whom God guides cannot be led astray by anyone. Is God not mighty and capable of retribution? 37 And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely, they will say: "Allah (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allah, if Allah intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm, or if He (Allah) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" Say: "Sufficient for me is Allah; in Him those who trust (i.e. believers) must put their trust." 38 Say: O my people! Act in your manner. Lo! I (too) am acting. Thus ye will come to know 39 "To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment." 40 Surely We have revealed to you the Book with the truth for the sake of men; so whoever follows the right way, it is for his own soul and whoever errs, he errs only to its detriment; and you are not a custodian over them. 41
