Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
