▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
