And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" 23 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, 24 [every] withholder of good [and] sinful aggressor [and] fomentor of distrust [between man and man - everyone] 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants. 29
