Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 in the seat of truth with an all-powerful sovereign. 55
