And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 the blast overtook them early one morning. 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
