The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Blissful are the believers 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 And who shun vain conversation, 3 And who are payers of the poor-due; 4 And who guard their private parts, 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 But whoever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits; 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 And who pay heed to their prayers. 9 and who are steadfast in their prayer. 10 Who shall inherit the Paradise; they shall abide therein. 11 We created man from the finest extract of clay, 12 Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 and be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And indeed We have created above you seven heavens (one over the other), and We are never unaware of the creation. 17 And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away. 18 With it, We produced for you gardens of palms and vines, yielding abundant fruit for you to eat. 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 And on them and on the ship ye are carried. 22
