And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
