See you not those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah? How are they turning away (from the truth, i.e. Islamic Monotheism to the falsehood of polytheism)? 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 when they shall have to carry the shackles and chains [of their own making] around their necks, 71 In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 And certainly We sent apostles before you: there are some of them that We have mentioned to you and there are others whom We have not mentioned to you, and it was not meet for an apostle that he should bring a sign except with Allah's permission, but when the command of Allah came, judgment was given with truth, and those who treated (it) as a lie were lost. 78
