Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
