By no means! By the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning for people -- 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the criminals, 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
