Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On a straight path, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
