The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
