The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
