No calamity befalleth save by Allah's leave. And whosoever believeth in Allah, his heart He guideth. And Allah is of everything Knower. 11 Pay heed, then, unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle; and if you turn away, [know that] Our Apostle's only duty is a clear delivery of this message: 12 Allah, there is no god except He. In Allah let the believers put their trust. 13 O believers, some of your spouses and children are your enemies, so beware of them! Yet if you forbear, overlook, and forgive, God is indeed forgiving and kind. 14 Your riches and your children are but a temptation; and Allah! with Him is a mighty hire. 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 If ye lend unto Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it unto you and will forgive you; and Allah is Appreciator, Forbearing. 17 All-Knower of the unseen and seen, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 18
