The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 It is imperative that a habitation We have destroyed will not desist (from unbelief) 95 till, when Gog and Magog are unloosed, and they slide down out of every slope, 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 (They will be told): "Verily you and the gods you worshipped beside Allah are the fuel of Hell. All of you are bound to arrive there. 98 If those [false objects of your worship] had truly been divine, they would not have been destined for it: but [as it is, you] all shall abide therein!" 99 there shall be sighing for them therein, and naught they shall hear. 100 But those who have been promised a good reward by Us will be kept far away from Hell -- 101 no sound thereof will they hear; and they will abide in all that their souls have ever desired. 102 The great fearful event shall not grieve them, and the angels shall meet them: This is your day which you were promised. 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 We had prescribed in the Book of Psalms after the reminder and admonition, that those of Our creatures who are good will in the end rule the earth. 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 And We have not sent thee except as a mercy unto the Worlds. 107 Say, "It has been revealed to me that your God is but One God. Will you then submit to Him?" 108 If they turn back, say: 'I have warned you all alike, though I cannot tell whether what you are promised is imminent or distant. 109 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide; 110 And I know not, perhaps it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while. 111 Say: "O my Lord! judge Thou in truth!" "Our Lord Most Gracious is the One Whose assistance should be sought against the blasphemies ye utter!" 112
