Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
YA SIN. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
